Which PS2? The old chunky one, or a slimline?
The old one needs a network adapter (around £20-30 on ebay i reckon), and the slimline has one built in.
I use a crossover UTP CAT5 cable (RJ45 - ~£10) from the PS2 to the router. Plug it in, and use a network disc (available free from Sony allegedly, although I've been waiting for almost 14 months on mine, and they only post them from 12 miles up the road from me ),or use a game which can set the connection up for you. TonyHawks games do this as far as I remember.0 -

All you have to get is a RJ45 cable (crossover).0

I don't have 2007, but it seems that, yes, you can use it to set up the connection. As mentioned above, a crossover RJ45 cable between the PS2 and your router (or PC NIC) will get you connected. It's the settings when you get into FIFA that may cause some issues. You'll see what it's asking for though when you try to set it up, and google for answers on those.0 -
