Curtains for 8ft french windows and pole

Hi
I am looking to get a curtain track/pole and a set of curtains for the french doors, hopefully to reduce loss of heat with this cold weather coming up. The doors are double glazed but you can definitely feel a chill coming from them in the evenings.
Any recommendations, they will be approx 8 foot by 8 foot.
I was thinking of trying to get thermal linings too or backing them with a duvet kind of lining?
I have blinds up at the moment and they will be staying too.
Any one have any suggestions/bargains?
