can i withdraw my money if my bank account is on hold

just a quick question.
just had a letter from natwest saying in my current account im £786cr. but because my account is on hold because of paying a loan from them in a dmp i cant use a card etc.
Am i entitled to withdraw all the money from that account to put into my dmp??
if so how can i do this
any help be much appreciated

Hi
Banks can, and do, offset any funds from current accouts / savings etc to pay off loans etc.
Tomorrow, go and get another bank account and get your wages paid into this!0 -
thanks for the reply ive got a seperate account wear its all paid into. Ive had my dmp for months now and just had a letter sayin i owed 1 amount and saying i had 768 pound in that account.
so would it be worth ringing them and trying to transfer them funds0
