Envelope disapeared and stuck in Printer !

We have a Canon Pixma ip4500 and decided to print out some santa letters and envelopes for the grandchildren this afternoon, however there is an envelope jammed somewhere in the printer but cannot see it to even get to it. Anyone got any ideas ? Opened everything that opens and still no sign of it anywhere.
Really want to fix this before I have to confess all to husband when he comes in !!!!!

You have no alternative but to open all possible flaps and inspect with a powerful torch. When you find it (as you must - if it didn't come out it must still be in there) extract it so carefully so as not to leave any small piece of paper inside anywhere. A pair of flat-nosed tweezers may help, the wider the better. Keep calm. Sit down often. Do not rush it.
If all else fails, make out that you are a helpless female and need a big strong hunky man to solve the problem... (Usually works!)0
