I need a ladder!

i am looking for a aluminium ladder, something for outside use such as getting up to my guttering to clan them out.

Up to now ive seen a ladder at homebase £79 that is for a double ladder that extends to 6.1 metres.

can one know any more outlets for a similar ladder or even one of those 3 extenders.

cheers.

The only thing I would say is that its worth paying a little more for decent quality ladders. We inherited some with our house and while I thought they were pretty good - compared with the ladders the builders had they are pretty unstable and flexible. Still fine for occassional work but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time up them!

  • Nice question. I need to know what is the ideal height of ladder to reach the guttering of a semi-detached house. Also, which ladder lock is the best. I only have the option to lock it on to some fences. Maybe the concrete posts?

B&Q are doing an Abru 10 way combination ladder for £68 inc.

    Folded height is 900mm (2' 11"), and fully extended it reaches 3380mm (11' 1").
