Looking for DVD/CRRW drivers

Hi

Looking for drivers for a MATSHITAUJDA750 DVD/CDRW thats inside a PB Easynote 3242 , having terrible trouble finding them , any ideas?

Not a normal requirement you fit the dvd/cd and windows finds them from itself so to speak . Could try updating them in Windows device manager .Or deleting and rebooting .
Drivers are usually on the web site of the manufacturer of the machine .

cheers , cant find for life of me any drivers for this particular laptop (PB easynote E3242) , and doesnt help that it doesnt go on line ! so cant do the uodate driver thing, so trying to get drivers from somewhere on the web onto my mem stick here at work to install on it later !

It's a standard Panasonic drive, which should be natively supported in any version of Windows or Linux - I can't recall having had to install CD/DVD drivers for many, many years, especially on something as basic as a Cr&phard Bell notebook.

Sounds more likely that the drive is faulty.

ok , i agree to be honest , i am a little confused about what to replace it with though ? does it have to be a certain type ,if so , how do i find that out ? , as i am comfortable with swopping it out , just as long as i am putting the right thing in !

These may be the laptop drivers -google them to be sure.

You don't need dvd/cd drivers ,as posted , confused why you want to replace "it" -guess you mean the dvd? Have you just re-installed windows?? XP??

I am thinking the dvd/cr rw itself is on its way out...so was looking to replace that....

Laptop is running fine , OS hasnt been reinstalled for a good couple of years , plays CD`s , just no DVD`s , with no response at all when one is inserted...used the autoplay fix you can get online and that says cant repair it.....

so was looking to swop the H/W out ?

Use a pen drive it's a 2 meg prog
