Having admitted to Direct Line that you were the main driver of the car, have they indicated they are going to void the policy or ask you for back payment based on the actual risk with you as the main driver?

If you won't need a car in 2 weeks time, how long is it likely to be before you get another one? You no claims discount has a limited lifespan if you are not insured - for a normal no claims it can be up to two years, but with the Direct Line only no claims, Direct Line may consider it valid for a shorter time.

To work out how much you might save by continuing the insurance is easy - get an online quote from direct line, but enter in that you have one year no claims.
