We have a 2 year old Jack Russell (see pic) and we bath him regulary but never really brush him. He molts (constantly!) and he gets "dredlocks" around his ears which we cut away. I've had enough of his hairs being everywhere (i constantly tidy but he constantly molts!) there's even hair upstairs (where he isnt allowed!)
BUT
I dont know where to start! The only animal i've ever groomed is a horse! Can any one suggest products/equipment (im assuming theres set combs etc) that i would need? We do use a comb (it doesnt look like a comb, but more of an oval shape with a handle) to pull the loose hairs from him but thats it.
Here's Benji:

Thanks
