I want to subscribe to http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/podcasts/Frank-Skinner-on-Absolute-Radio/ however, unlike BBC podcasts, there is no option to download on MyYahoo.
On the podcast guide http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/podcast-guide.html it mentions the easiness of iTunes and the fact htat it is free. But I do not have an iPhone, iPod or iPad.
Is iTunes useful if you don't have an iDevice and can I still listen to the podcast on my laptop and upload it on my Nokia phone if needed?
This is all new to me.

iTunes will be of use in downloading the podcast and allowing you to listen to it - and if you navigate your way to the podcasts folder, you can copy the mp3 to use elsewhere - HOWEVER
Unless you open iTunes every week (assuming the podcast to be a weekly one, like the R4 Friday Night Comedy) you'll miss episodes. The BBC doesn't keep them up any longer than a week, as I found out to my annoyance when I left iTunes inactive for a month or so.0 -

You could use Juice, which won't work with itunes feeds but will work with RSS feeds which this site has http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/index.php
Come to think of it you should be able to use the RSS feed from Absolute in My Yahoo

I am not entirely sure what a RSS feed is, though.0
