Options
Hi all,

I know there is another similar thread ie British Gas Websaver 6 versus 10 but i am wondering if it is right to go to Websaver 10 now or stay on Websaver 5?

I have looked on BG website but cannot find any comparison tools!

Thank you in advance,

you can look at the unit rates at the bottom of this page, websaver 5 has seen an increase (effective 10th of December, just in time for christmas).

Is their any reason you are wanting to stay with BG?

BG's tariffs are no longer the cheapest, EDF online s@ver 7 is cheapest in alot of cases as you can get £80 cashback from quidco (ends on the 30th) and EDF also give new customers £100 credit for a DF switch. Although not the cheapest purely on unit rates this extra £180 saving normally makes it the cheapest, but use a comparison website before switching.
  • Sorry all but i have answered my own question. If anyone is interested Websaver 5 ( or 6 for that matter) look better value for money than moving to Websaver 5.

British Gas - WebSaver 5 Dual Fuel 7.037 p for the first 670 kWh per quarter, and 3.019 p thereafter

British Gas - WebSaver 10 Dual Fuel 7.037 p for the first 670 kWh per quarter, and 3.104 p thereafter
Unit charge (pence per kWh) 7.037 p for the first 670 kWh per quarter, and 3.019 p thereafter
