New Year is a fab time to go for money saving as kids go completely free. We went last January to the Santa Fe. 2 adults, 3 kids, drove ourselves with Eurotunnel, 3 full days passes, 2 nights and we paid £280 including breakfast and passes. Not each but for ALL of us!

We book through Clippers Quay Travel (google them) can't book online but ring them up they are open 7 days a week.

The only thing I will say about going that time of year is that it is very very cold. We had snow one day and everywhere is icy, all the lakes are frozen over and therefore some of the outside rides are closed. We do as the Europeans do though, skisuits and moonboots for the kids, wrap up in plenty of layers and have a fab time. It isn't crowded so minimal queuing, some rides you can even just stay on and go on again and again if you like.

Going again in Jan 2007, can't wait!!! We've upgraded this time to a much better hotel (although the Santa Fe was fine, clean and warm, we want a pool this time), and are going for 5 nights on the eurostar (no driving), still costing us less than a grand all in.

We went a few months ago. Booked through Leger Holidays (http://www.tothemagic.co.uk), a coach company that accept Tesco's Clubcard vouchers.

They usually have promotions involving free hotel upgrades and extra nights there, although we found the Santa Fe (cheapest of the Disney Hotels) perfectly decent. The other hotels are more themed/glitzy, though. I fancy staying at the Newport Bay next time.

We did find the coach travel quite wearing - a five day break really means three plus two entire days travelling, but it was a good holiday and we got a free day tour of Paris included which we hadnt been expecting!

For a five day holiday for two people, I traded in £55 clubcard vouchers and paid just over £350 for four nights in the Santa Fe and two days of Disney passes.

Edit: word of warning - they refused us the offered upgrade as we had used Clubcard vouchers.
