Hi, Ive had a problem with my final bill for British Gas as they were charging me for incorrect usage and as a prepayment meter, I spent 45 mins on the phone to them the other day and was told an investigation into how this happened would be opened. I got a phonecall yesterday from someone at BG telling me my bill had been revised and that was that. Ive just recieved the bill but Im still being charged at the same rate as the previous bill and want to know if this is right. I was on a standard tariff and have looked at thier website but cannot seem to find the prices.
Electric
First 62 kWh x 20.797 p = £12.89
Next 127 kWh x 11.183 p = £14.20
Are these the right figures for a standard electric tariff at BG?

It depends where you live what the exact price is. Go here http://www.britishgas.co.uk/products-and-services/energy/our-tariffs.html and scroll down to the bottom and fill in your postcode to see the tariff.
Edit: Should have said that prepayment meters are charged at the standard tariff.0 -
