User has IP address banned for no obvious reason

One of 'my' users has reported his IP address has been banned. He is not a troublemaker - I can't remember a single problematic post from him! (I've had a quick look at past posts, and see no problems). Forum error?
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
