Nope, youtube uses flash to play the videos, the latest version of flash player for pocket PC's is 7 and youtube wants newer so untill there is a newer version then it wont work.0

If you use Firefox for web browsing then there is an extension that you can download and install called (videodownloader) that would capture the movie, turn it into a format of your choice like .avi that you can then move onto your PDA and watch. That is what I use to watch movies on the iPod.
Hope this helps.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -
thanks, I was actually thinking oif watching on the move (streaming) as I have the WebNWalk unlimited data package.
There are also streaming videos with Java (there's a small cup of cofee on the top right hand corner before the video starts)
How can I watch those on the PDA?0 -
exactly the same thing you need the java applet plugin for the PDA, if you find one then it will work but finding them isnt easy0
-
your answer implies that the applet is available, so why isn't it readily availble? I am sure lts of PDA users would want to use it!
Anyone knows where/how to get the Java applet to work on a WM5 PDA0 -
Hi
I don't know if this will be any good, but I've found this article.

I'll try this on my wm5 smartphone 2moro. I would love to use up my webnwalk too - I only use a 100mb or so now. Isn't there a 2gb cap though?I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.0 -

Thanks, I would love to know if you succeeded. Strange that not many people know about this..
As fro WnW, it depends which type you have, if it's the £7.50 bolt on, it only has 1GB cap, the Pro (which is now discountinued) was 2GB but the new "Plus" is 3GB. Ther's also a "Max" and I think it's 10GB. The last 2 are designed to be used on a datacard for a laptop0
