Amex Online Servicing - Offline?

Hi, I've just gone online to make a switch payment to my Amex Platinum card to keep it under limit and all details are showing as "Unavailable" (at 10:00). Anyone else having problems this morning or have Amex decided to unilaterally close my accounts for me too?

Try calling Customer Services.

Often happens on a Sunday, I don't know why.

Remember the United States are approximately 6 to 8 hours behind us so their updating of web-sites occurs in the early hours of the morning just like most of our banks.
In my experience when Banks and financial institutions decide to make major upgrades to their systems the weekend is their optimum time to do so especially Sunday Night/Monday Morning when the least amount of customers are likely to be inconvenienced.
