Buyer has opened an Ebay dispute

A buyer messaged me to say the suit she bought "smelt funny" and was dry clean only which she didnt realise so she opened a Not as Described dispute and emailed me, I replied saying for her to send the item back and I would refund, buyer says she doesnt want to return the item as its now in the dry cleaners.
I'm sure the smell was just the mailing bag and maybe airing outside would have freshened it up as it was a brand new suit, ok I guess it was my fault for not saying it was dry clean only, but all the smart tailored suits I've bought have been dry clean only.
I'm wondering what she wants as I thought opening a dispute means buyers wants a refund?

It does. She's thick. Respond accepting the return, then see what happens.0

Personally I would leave the dispute to run, make sure you have responded actually to the dispute saying you'll give a full refund on safe return.
As she can't send it back she can't win a dispute and if she tries anything 'funny' phone paypal and be persistent explaining what her email said and insist they close the dispute in your favour.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It would be interesting to see how it can be a snad if you did not actually say that it was NOT dry clean only.
Or someone could open one because the lining in the pockets is the wrong colour, or the belt loops on the trousers are too narrow.....0
