Hi im with southern electric for gas and elec, im currently on standard gas as i have a key meter for my electric and pay my gas dd each month. Would it be cheaper for me to have duel fuel and get rid of the key meter? Also i wouldnt know what tarrif to go on as i cant make sense of them. Can anyone help...thanks

I will lose 2 stone by this summer!!!!!!

better off getting rid of key meter, but will possibly have to pay, but as existing cust with SSE they may remove free. Better to ask SSE for your annual consumption in KWh and then quote yourself on a comparison site paying gas standard sse mdd, and elec standard pay on demand, then you'll see what your cost will be dual fuel for all power co's and all various tariffs they have. Do not get hung up on unit rates or standing charges/no standing charges. The comparison sites take all variables into account i.e unit rates and discounts for dual fuel.0
