Can anybody help me. I have been told if a child gets DLA you can get free tickets for the theatre.
Is this true?
Thanks in advance

It would be at the discretion of the individual theatre, and at my local one it varies from performance to performance.Gone ... or have I?0

at our theatre they offer a disabled concession, which is the same price as a childs ticket. I wonder if you are thinking of the CEA card? http://www.ceacard.co.uk/0

At my local theatre it's £3 off the cost of the ticket, the kings in Edinburgh used to do a free carer to certain performances but never the peak time ones or the panto.0

Varies according to the theatre, for adults anyway. Our local one does £3 discount, the birmingham hippodrome for the panto did carer goes free, (so effectively 1/2 price each), and Stratford (RSC) used to do £10 tickets for both the person with the disability and the carer.
I have tended to find though that to get the full concessions you need to phone rather than book online - too many fraudulent bookings otherwise according to the nice people at the hippodrome. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
