Netgear TA612V VOIP no dial tone help

I am having problems with the Netgear VOIP. Anyone technically minded help me out?
The connections are modem > Netgear VOIP > Computer
I have registered on the sipgate site, and they gave me a number, but there is no dial tone when I pick up the phone which is connected to line 1. When I go into the router (by going to http://192.168.61.1) I get the following:-
LAN Port
MAC Address 00:0F:B5:13:XX:XX (last 4 figures deleted)
Line 1
Display Name UNAVAILABLE
Telephone Number phonenumber
Line 1 Status
Hook State: ON
Registration State: Idle
Message Waiting: NO
I think the above indicates that I am not on Voip. Anyone know if sipgate take a while to set up the VOIP as I registered 3 hrs ago, or should it be up and running and is there something wrong with my connection???

I'm having problems too. It's all registered, the Line 1 & 2 lights are on, but there is no dial tone. It doesn't ring when calls come in either.
I have a registration state of SUCCESSFULThanks in advance,
