Just one to watch for those on Click 6 electricity - just had my email about the price increase and having checked the prices (there is some confusion over the new rates) tier one units are indeed increasing (16.68p to 19.827 or 20.745) but tier 2 rates are going down from 8.854p to either 8.077 or 8.42p. There appears to be a discrepancy between what the website is quoting for my area (the lower figures) and what their reps say on the phone, but either way if you pay more than about £45 per month on electricity your bill should actually go down (at least until the tariff gets canned altogether next summer).

Look carefully before you switch! This may just be a peculiarity due to me just having electricity from British Gas rather than dual fuel - either that or they've been over charging me up to now!
