bathroom towel radiator ice cold!

in the bathroom i have a chrome towel radiator...
on the top right there is what seems to be where you bleed it from (which i have done) - but where is the TRV? is that on the opposite top corner, as it just looks like a big nut that you open with a spanner? (scared of flooding my bathroom!)
there are two thermostats on the bottom, which i have turned up to full.....but its still ice cold!

Don't bathroom rads come on with the hot water rather than the main CH?

You are right about the big nut. Open it and that'll be two big nuts.
  • lol! thanks landyandy... something up with it for sure tho - as i get lots of hot water, and other rads in the house are piping hot, but this one is stone cold.

Is it on the CH circuit or the DHW circuit?

Two threads on the same subject = OP gets confusing answers. But nevertheless valves are valves not thermostats. There isn't (usually) a thermostatic radiator valve on a towel rail.

For further answer see you first thread in a minute or so.

Because if on DHW it will work when the CH is off. If on CH it will only work with the CH on.
But since it doesn't work anyway, that info is really academic at present...

One thing at a time - lets address the rads first and do it ALL on the other thread. Go over there now - I've just added two posts.
