It is very tempting, but a very slippery slope to follow.
Very slippery. And I know how I'd feel about myself if I did, inadvertently, "dip" into it. And so I've removed temptation and transferred it away from myself.
This whole BR process is, for me at least, very much a learning experience - learning to manage on what I've got and not what I can borrow. All four months so far I've had some money left (ranging from £5 to £100) at the end of the month, which shows I'm definitely getting there. Car insurance due in January - not looking forward to that - so that's going to be the next challenge. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

So far we have scrapped through every month, but we have not borrow and our quality of life has been better. The kids have deff benifited from us declaring BR.
Christmas is tough, cause we used to spoil the girls at christmas as they had jack all through the year. This year if diferent, but were on track, unless something goes wrong (car or washingmachine etc)
The Wedding to put aside for, then holiday, then birthdays, the christmas again - There's alway something.I'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.
