New to tax credits and child benefit

Hi All

We have recently had our first child so are receiving our first child benefit and tax credits so wondered if there is anything we are entitled to because of this.

We have our loft insulation being done for free because of our new arrival. I heard they were replacing boilers free of charge for tax credits but I only just heard of that and think its finished now.

Any more advice on things that we may be able to use would be great

Thanks

Google "warm front" - you can get a grant to install/replace a broken system if you get CTC and your income is below a certain level (about 16k I think). But I don't think they'll upgrade a working system.
