For electricity i unit = 1 kWh.
For gas, your meter reads in cu ft or cu m (it's marked on your meter which), you then have to convert to kWh-approx 11 for cu m and 31.5 for cu ft.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Hi GoldenSwan,
If you need your usage, you can use the email address in my profile page and I will be happy to help you.
Save you ringing

Thanks for the offer, i got through quite quickly and spoke to a very helpful Sean!
He has told me my usage, and reckons i have a £30 penalty if i leave eon, but can change tariff within eon for £0. If i switch to "saveonline 4 dual fuel" i stand to save £272/yr.
Just realised i never asked vital q's like are the prices fixed, tie in period etc. Doh, Sigh!

If you are out of minimum term then therre is no penalty. Helpful Sean is just there to discourage you from switching away from them. All the tariff info you need is on the comp sites, now you have your figs it takes 2 minutes to enter the data.
Don't get hung up on ETC's, even if it is £30, the cashback alone will cover that, let alone the tariff savings. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Right...More hand holding needed please, how hard can this be i ask myself.
Depite the fact that the unit prices are the same on the eon 9 tariff when puting my usage in, it didn't come up with the same bill cost as it currently is! So there must be standing charge differences.
I went on the other section which allows you to say whether your low/med/high user and we are high according to thier definitions. Lo and behold Eon save online 4 came up as the best one!
So given that i am already an eon customer is there any way to increase my savings with cashback, or am i just hoping for too much?
Thanks again guys, really appreciate the "spoonfeeding":T:T
