GHD sale site - genuine?

Monrning all.

DS wants to buy these for his GF for Christmas. He seems to think they are very cheap (personally I have no idea, nearly £70 for a hair straightener seems like daylight robbery to me!:eek:)

Does anyone know if this site is ok, and if so are they seconds/returns, and are they really as cheap as he thinks?

Thanks all for your help, I won't be touching that site with a bargepole. Scary though isn't it, it does liik very genuine to innocents like me!

BTW the GENUINE GHD site doesn't recognise the Chinese one either (surprise!).

thats scary how real that site looks! I got my GHD's from an approved stockiest which was my local hair dressers.

Yup, it's really easy to be taken in. DS is either going to have to dig a bit deeper into his bank account and get them in a proper place, or buy her something else!

I think boots.com had some ceramic straighteners at reasonable prices,not GHD's but ive heard they are just as good.

It's a handy wee site to bookmark if you are in doubt about the authenticity of a website. I have to say that the fake GHD site looks really good and really authentic.

I have GHD's myself, they are very good and I have them over 10 years now (the same pair) and although they are very good, I am not sure if I would spend the same money on them now if I was replacing them as there are other good alternatives available now that were not arounf 10 years ago.
