Trips are expensive - mainly because of the cost of the coach. If an activity has been booked it is usually about £3.50 per child and a coach could be as much as £7 per child depedning upon how many are going. I doubt that the school would be using it as a money making exercise.0

Although the cost may seems expensive, the trips are an extreamly important part of a childs education. Many are taken at specific times to coincide with the projects that are being done at school. With so little funding for each childs education, this is a small amount to put to your childs future. With all the implications due to health and safety, insurance, etc this is where the costs are being added. This is due to parents from before and the complaints that they made, trips have not gone up that much considering the prices I paid 6/7 years ago, yet prices of insurance and coaches have.Sarah x0
