    nothing wrong with meat from a market, if its a very popular stall then there is even less to worry about. we buy meat from a farm where they sell it from a table in their hall. they bring half a cow/ whatever out and ask what bits you want. its only packaged if its something like mince (sold by weight) or once you've picked the bits you want. no shrinkwrapping just clingfilm :)
