'Important' calls from Barclaycard asking for someone who doesn't live at our address

Hi,

This is my first time posting, so I'm sure sure if I'm in the right place, but I'm wondering if anyone has some advice.

In the past week or so, we have been getting a lot of calls for Barclaycard. When we answer, it's a recorded message saying that it's an important call for someone called Laura Halsall. No one of that name has ever lived at our address! I've tried calling the number back, but all I get is another recorded message saying that they cannot proceed until they speak to Laura Halsall. My partner has called Barclaycard customer service who said that we would no longer receive these calls, but still they keep coming!

Because these calls are recorded, they're happening at all times of the day, anytime from 8am to 9pm. This is obviously becomming a bit of a nusance (especially when we're trying to have a lie in at the weekend)!

Not sure if there's anything we can do, but I'm interested to see if anyone has any advice.

Thanks!!!

Tracie
