Okay how many comps are you all doing a day/week?

It varies from day to day for me really. On a day when I am at work I try and do some while the kids are eating breakfast and then again in the evening but if I have a day off I will usually get in a few hours ;O)NOVEMBER WINS: Mary J Blige tickets, 4 x Frog and Bucket comedy club tickets, Robinsons Netbook, Nivea gift pack, Mascara, Hobgoblin beer and voucher, Paprika dress, Faithless tickets
Thanks to all who post comps!:j0 -
I sort the board by 'newly added competitions' (the red button) and then work through entering EVERY competition on the board that I would like to win. So generally if you leave it a day without doing any...there can be anything from 10 - 15 pages of new competitions, sometimes more. So with 20 competition threads per page, thats between 200-300 competitions added to the site per day...sometimes more. But then there are lots of threads I skip, eg gig tickets, some of the blogs that I find too fiddly.
In addition to these I do the daily's every day when I can. I've had a good return on these, but you have to be patient.
I don't have time to do the postals, so maybe those have a greater winning chance if there's lots like me who don't do those...?
I've only won 1 prize from Twitter - a £100 H&M card. Facebook I've won lots from so again that's a good place to start.
I've been comping for about a year and have won £worth of prizes - inc 5 holidays, cash prizes and electronics (eg ipad)....plus a lot of smaller stuff (but equally exciting to receive!)
The key is to realise that even if you enter lots, you don't necessarily win. It is ultimately down to luck, and by entering more, you have more chance to win 'something' but not nec the big prizes.
I have two toddlers and also a job...but still fit this in, so it is possible. It just depends how addicted you are suppose :-)
Bottom line...if you enjoy the process of entering...then go for it. If you find it boring then maybe it's not for you. But honestly even a small win can make it very worthwhile :-)
Good luck!!
Edit : Just to add...big THANK YOU to all those who post.. I can't imagine how the regular posters manage to enter the competitions...as well as sourcing new ones too!! You are all absolute stars!!0 -
Oh dear I've only just started this after loosing my job and having loads of spare time on my hands, thought I would give this a go. 200-300 per day! Oh my I will be busy lol.
Thank you to everyone who finds the time and puts in the effort to post - think I have the comping bug  already.......If you want children to keep their feet on the ground, put some responsibility on their shoulders.

I do between 1000 - 2000 per week, I am luck enough to be a lady of leisure so I have plenty of time. I do it so my family can enjoy 'extras' like holidays etc, plus I love doing it!August wins: BBQ, Solar Garden Lights, Seeds0

i spend around 2 hours a day doing them, sometimes less. again i only enter the ones that interest me or i would like to win.
Have only started comping on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and have won 2 good comps off there. I see it as being a hobby!0 -
You guys must be very fast, even with a form filler I am probably entering about 15-20 per hour, as many link either want you to register/login which I can't be bothered to do etc etc.0

I do about 100 a day but only do things I want or can give to someone else. It can take me ages sometimes. I can't be bothered with the play the game or major effort ones though. My wins have been very thin on the ground the last 2 months though.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

I make sure i'm signed in at either work or home, then just go back to where I was when I last did some and just work back to the top of page one again. I do that usually at least twice a day and usually spend about an hour a day doing them. I don't enter a HUGE number, but I just go for ones that I like the look of. When I've not been on for a couple of days, I usually try to put some time aside to catch up properly, but if I can't do that, I usually just skim through the ones I've missed.
It's a lot of effort, but it's worth it when you get a winTwitter: @haddockman830 -
I would spend all breat times and lunch in work entering what i can (lots of sites are blocked) and then would go home and do 2-3 hours entering only the ones i fancy. I dont get much time at the weekend to comp and i always feel im playing catch up the rest of the week.
Thanks compers for all the great tips and to those who post comps.Took a break from comping for about 10mths. I will be lucky from here on in:j0 -

The sites that want you to register/login are probably the easiet ones to enter. Once you have registered you can get those sites to remember your details so you won't need to fill them in again the next time you enter a competition there.2010: £86040
