Cold Radiator

Hi folks - hoping somone can give me a bit of advise. Our heating and hot water (gas) went kaput at the weekend. I had someone come out today to fix the problem - which turned out to be a jammed circulator. In order to do this he had to drain the system. Everything is now back and working fine, except one radiator that is freezing cold. It's nearest (in distance but don't know about plumbing) to the boiler.
I've tried bleeding it (didn't seem to be any air in it) and adjusting the thermostat on it. I've also tried twiddling the valve at the other side (although this hadn't been moved previously) but nothing seems to have made any difference. It was working fine before so I can't think what the problem might be. does anyone have any idea? Could it be that it's the last in the loop and will just take time to warm up? (although the guy was done by 3pm and it's now 4hrs later)
Of course if it doesn't get any better I'll call the company tomorrow but I'm flumoxed as to what the problem might be?

If its one of those with an individual thermostat on it they can have a pin inside that can get jammed in the off position. On ours we can unscrew then slide off the control bit and you see inside a pin that can be pushed in and out, if this is stiff or sticks a quick spray of wd40 or simular will loosen it up.
Only know this as it happened to us on a few radiators when we first bought this house (it had been empty for about 18 months).
Otherwise its usually a case of bleeding the radiators. May be worth checking the next one along the system to see if the air blockage is there?

Ok - quick update....radiator seems to be warming up :j so perhaps it was just a case of the water flowing through the whole system, I also turned off some of the rads upstairs to try and force the heat down....don't know if it's helped but something seems to have worked
:):) Its not as warm as the others but I'm hoping that it will gradually heat up to proper temp. Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

If you turn off the warmest rads for a while it should clear quite quickly.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0
