Has anyone with a Dell PC downloaded and installed the application offered for free by an alert. The app is : "Dell DataSafe Local Basic"
I think I may have made the mistake of trying it, because I think the installation may have corrupted the Dell supplied - Recovery Partition on my disc drive.
The Dell recovery option is no longer available on the F8 boot menu and I think the files / directories on the
\RECOVERY partition were changed during the installation of DataSafe.
Unfortunately, no Dell representatives are responding to my question on the Dell Support Forum
