Sky remote question?

Wasnt sure where to put this question and hoepfully can explain it well enough for someone to understand:D

We have just got a new tv and am now using the old one in another room for the wiifit. The problem we have is that we no longer have the remote for the older tv as we just purely used the sky remote. The wiifit seems to come into the tv on the channel 'ext1'. Using the buttons on the tv I am unable to get to this channel. I have resorted to leaving the tv on to save using the sky remote from another room (both tvs are toshiba so the sky remote works both)

The buttons I press on the sky remote are 'tv' then 'help' and I get to the channel

I got a sky remote off a business on ebay but it wouldnt program to our tv so am thinking will have to get a proper one from a shop - will any remote work or will I have to have a sky remote or is there another way to get to the channel 'ext'?

thanks

Ext is not a channel its an input.
Your TV may have an input select button on it, or possible an AV button.

TV + help is the usual way to select inputs using a Sky remote.

Your cheapest route if your fleebay one does not work is to get a properone from the local supermarket and programme it using the cosed listed on the Sky TV interactive pages.

BTW, there is a label on the inside of the battery cover where you write down the code you use to programme the remote to your TV, did you do this?
That gum you like is coming back in style.
