I emailed the address on the letter and received this reply today :mad:

Sincere apologises, I have checked through the list and found that you were one of the runner up winners and have only won a DVD.

I'm extremely sorry for the confusion and hope that you are not too disappointed with your smaller prize. I will send a book over in the post to apologise for the confusion.

I little annoying as I had my hopes up, as did my son. If you have received the same DVD and letter, you may want to email as well.

I emailed them today with the dates of the show i would like tickets for and it all seems fine for me. Unfortuantly it seems like a genuine mistake at their end

I received another email today

Dear Sir or Madam

You were recently notified that you were a main prize winner in a Fireman Sam competition, winning a number of Fireman Sam prizes.

Unfortunatley, it is with regret that I must inform you that you are not a main prize winner and only a runner up, winning a Fireman Sam DVD.

I'm extremely sorry for this administrative error. To apologise I will be sending additional Fireman Sam prizes in the post, to arrive early next week.

I received this email earlier but havent had a dvd or letter delivered, maybe its on its way and something extra will be a nice surpise too

Oh no, not bad at all - just a little annoying. Im not complaining, just wanted to inform others as Im sure that there were a few people that recieved the same letter.

i got the DVD 2 days ago with the same letter then recieved an email today.
