Hi
Does anbody know what the problem is with windows 7 configuring the automatic updates?
When I boot up im getting configuring up dates, do not turn off your computer. Then I get Failure to configure reverting changes (or something like that) and the computer then goes into a bootp up and shut down loop that can last for ages and even when it does boot up the next time it just goes back to the same state.
Any Ideas

Thanks baldur
Got it sorted I think!
I uninstalled the updates, turned off automatic updates and reset the updates using mr fixit. Laptop now boots up and shuts down no problem.
Surely Microsoft know about this and should issue a simple fix.0
