So pleased with my kitchenaid purchase!! :D

Note: It's a kitchenaid classic model NOT artisan!
Classic has a 250w motor, artisan 325w. Classic has a 4.5L bowl (no handle) artisan 5L plus handle.
Not a drastic difference but a difference nevertheless!
(You can buy the 5L bowl separately if you want)

  • I had an odd experience earlier.

Had 2 tabs open on the lightning deals homepage, I was trying for the watch and the bath set.

Clicked on all 4 after the timer had counted down.

Went into the queue for all the items, then eventually came up saying that they had sold out.

I wasnt signed in, however I signed into my account, and happened to look in my basket and it had the discounted bath set!

    Madness! =D
  • How helpful and obliging are amazon with returns??? Im getting the canon camera i got today as i think its a good deal for a present, but if someone else buys one i might need to send it back. Just wondering how helpful amazon are ...ive never sent anything back. I obviously wont open it or anything.

Just placed my today's order for £276... Decided not to go for KitchenAid as I really prefer the look of Kenwood Chef. Maybe Santa will be kind and bring me on (in other words - OH will soften up and I can have one)

    From Amazon's T&C:
If you cancel your order for a Qualifying Item, the offer will cease to apply. If you return a Qualifying Item, Amazon.co.uk reserves the right to charge you (using the payment method you used for the original order) for the discount you received as part of this Offer.

Hm, I need some help deciding what camera to go for. Was desperate for one yday and got both the canon and sony today. Any help?

I had a Sony (Cybershot W12 ) previously. Now have a Canon Powershot A1100 IS which I'm really pleased with. I got it on offer at Amazon last Christmas and up until recently they were still selling, at more now than I paid then!!
I'd def recommend the Canon but if you're not sure wait til the BF furore has died down and look around , bet Amazon will have some good deals on cameras again.
  • I won the Estee Lauder perfume this morning but it won't let me checkout as they won't ship perfume (i'm guessing flammables) outside of mainland uk. I'm in N.Ireland :(

I think that means more if you have to spend a certain amount for a discount, or buy two items to receive a discount then return one of them.

If you choose to return your camera you'd get your £50 back, but you'd have to pay the postage to return it unless it was faulty.
