    if you what the deals 24 hours use amazon .com as they are 8 hours behind and have some good deals alot better than the uk ones and is a round 5-10 delivery have just got all simpson seris for 20 dollars bargin

    I wanted to try this, but someone posted about Customs taxes and implications and cost etc... anyone able to clarify??

    To anybody considering this don't forget DVDs as a rule will be Region 1 in the USA compared to Region 2 over here.

    Anything over £17 (it used to be) and they can slap you with all sorts of import taxes :)

    I've imported clothing, DVDs etc before with no issues. It is possible you'll get charged though...

    So a cheap Amazon "deal" could end up being very expensive, £10 delivery, import taxes AND DVDs probably wont play on UK machines.... deary me. I think I will pass

    it depends on what you buy i got 5 dvds and was 7 dollars £5 pounds for international shipping you can have the shiped over noght from the states if you order something big or large numbers of items and it works out cheaper with dhl

    People do it and "never have problems" but there's always a first time.......
