All you need to do is open 2 or 3 windows / tabs on the lightening deals page, once the timer reaches zero click on the item you want, then quickly go to the 2nd window and add it to basket again and then the same again in the 3rd window.

It is not 100% guaranteed to work but it has worked for me more than once.

I'm not convinced it is fastest first, as i've clicked on several items a few seconds after it becomes available, and they are popular items!

Seeing as though we are all clicking madly then going to another tab and getting the item, does this mean we should just be waiting for a second or two before clicking in the first place?

Sorry, but we all have exactly the same chances as you do. We all know there is limited stock of these items. Some you get lucky. Some you don't.

You could, but there was no way I would have got the bluray player or Nigella that way I'm sure.

Im not doing it, cant get anything for myself although i only want 2 things. Anyone got a shaver £31.99 philips lol.

Sorry to be dim..the second window, is it the same one as the first one with the deals? So, in theory they should be counting down at the same time?

Im not really that fussed, what i want is £37.99 at normal price. split that 3 ways (3 kids) and i am only saving them money if i get the shaver. Not such a biggie for me. And the other thing i seen will have to drop to £10 for me to want to buy it lol.
