Think i understand how this black friday works now.
SO i manage to get something in my basket, immediatley advertise it on ebay for a higher price on buy it now and if it has sold before midnight checkout at amazon and have it sent direct.Voila instant profit for a few clicks.
Let's just hope it doesn't sell out before you check out like what has been happening to other peopleMan who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

I remember reading something about having a better chance of getting something if you open up a second window, but didn't have a chance to read it properly as had to do the school run. Now, I can't remember which page it was on. This thread has expanded really quickly! Can someone explain it to me please, as would like to get the Chuggington set for my son at 7pm, but have to get their tea ready too.
I have one window open which i click on add to basket and inevitably end up in a queue, i have a second window open with Amazon.co.uk in the address bar, which i click on immediately and then on "add to basket" and it goes straight in...didnt have to do this yesterday but appear to today!0 -

Have managed to get 3 things so far this week on this sale - Nigella books (bought monday arrived today - very impressive delivery), bath bombs set yesterday (for my sister) and now this.
OK sounds good, going to try this trick for the dartboard tonight.Started advent comps 04.12.2013

All you need to do is open 2 or 3 windows / tabs on the lightening deals page, once the timer reaches zero click on the item you want, then quickly go to the 2nd window and add it to basket again and then the same again in the 3rd window.
It is not 100% guaranteed to work but it has worked for me more than once.
I'm not convinced it is fastest first, as i've clicked on several items a few seconds after it becomes available, and they are popular items!
Good luck0 -
Seeing as though we are all clicking madly then going to another tab and getting the item, does this mean we should just be waiting for a second or two before clicking in the first place?0

I have tried to get 1 item so far and missed out, it was also on again 9.30 this morning but i was at work. I have seen something i might like for myself later but is there any point me even trying to get it if people are getting it in there basket and not actualy checking out?.
Cant understand why people are holding on to what they have got and not checked out yet?
Also anyone want to try and get me the philips shaver lol £31.99 present from the kids. will round it up to £32.00 if you get me one lol.
Sorry, but we all have exactly the same chances as you do. We all know there is limited stock of these items. Some you get lucky. Some you don't.0 -

You could, but there was no way I would have got the bluray player or Nigella that way I'm sure.0 -

Sorry to be dim..the second window, is it the same one as the first one with the deals? So, in theory they should be counting down at the same time?0 -

Im not really that fussed, what i want is £37.99 at normal price. split that 3 ways (3 kids) and i am only saving them money if i get the shaver. Not such a biggie for me. And the other thing i seen will have to drop to £10 for me to want to buy it lol.Started advent comps 04.12.2013
