The thing is that it is one of the forum rules, we shouldn't have to be reminded of it constantly. I'm pretty sure that most people know it's against the rules anyway.

Unfortunately some people are very trusting and think it's worth the risk. The Amazon forums are full of the same at the moment!

Buying and selling does worry me which is why I do keep posting this, but I totally agree with you that I shouldn't have to as it is a clear forum rule and also a pretty common sense thing anyway.

We all feel like we know each other on this thread but in reality we don't, we are all strangers. We feel safe as we are dealing with another person on MSE but the best con merchants are those that make you think you are friends , otherwise you wouldn't trust them.

For those who don't see how simple it is imagine if I decided i didn't want my £50 wii and sort of mentioned it on here. No doubt I would get pms offering to buy it and I'd ask everyone that pmd me to send £60 to my bank account to cover the postage as well but not to mention it on the thread as I didn't want to be seen to be breaking the rules. How many £60s could I get and keep getting before I logged out and never logged back in again?

Please people lets stay safe and use a bit of common sense.

Do we need a thread specifically for 'what price did xyz go for'?

That's for the game alone. Black friday deal is for a collector's edition which includes a golden classic controller. About £50 elsewhere
