For those looking at the 37inch Toshiba, if you look at the actual product you'll see there's a £100 trade-in on that model if you trade in selected laptops. Not sure if you can use that offer with the price drop though.

Hats off to the Amazon marketing team. What a lot of excitement over some less than amazing reductions on random stuff that doesn't shift well (mostly). Oh, and very small quantities too so very few people actually get a look in.

Judging by this thread lots of people don't even follow through with the purchase because they just want the buzz of grabbing a 'bargain' and denying someone else in the process. The people who do buy are getting a marginal bargain and thousands of people are glued to the site all day.

Pure genius.
