I just had a scroll through what's left to come today and it looks like there is 13 items for 6pm

Maybe they should have done this from the start. More deals will give people more of a chance to buy what they actually want

I was the same when I tried to get the blokes perfume. It did a spinning wheel of death on me and then said sold out!

This is the thread I was talking about earlier where someone said they were told by Amazon that they had to complete their purchase within an hour or they would lose the item

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/tag/deals/forum/ref=cm_cd_tfp_ef_tft_tp?_encoding=UTF8&cdForum=Fx1DEIHNWYF5SA9&cdThread=Tx3NFCCIIX2555U&displayType=tagsDetail

    They said:
I got told by amazon that I should have completed the whole checkout process within the hour each time and because I waited till 9 I lost out on my deals.
All the discounts were there till I go the confirmation mail - they they all had gone.
Amazon say thy can do nothing...

And someone else said that a reply from Amazon about this said:
"Adding an item to your basket through the Lightning Deal adds the promotional discount to your account, but does not reserve that item for you."

I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem though and the T&Cs that I've seen say you have to complete by 23.59, but just thought I'd mention in in case anyone does find this happening.
