Got the Wii DJ hero but dumped it straight out my basket again.

The reason people (myself included) are saying it's not a great saving is because of the way Amazon are marketing it.
Amazon are saying that the DJ Hero was originally £80 odd quid, but if you shop around you won't pay more than £60 anyway (Play being one example).

I guess some people will happily pay whatever price is put in front of them, rather than research deals. Fair enough, you don't get the chance on something like this or you miss out, but maybe, as we are given the original price, it's worth checking online for deals on the same items. Then you're prepared......

The Wii DJ Hero is for the turntable, DJ Hero 2 game plus the original DJ Hero game - well, according to the photo I was scrutinising it is! Just waiting for OH to get back to me on whether or not he thinks it's worth getting. Clicked on Xbox game but went to a queue so for some reason tried for the Wii one and it went straight to my basket. I know OH would have prefered it on the xbox too.

True, amazon have marketed it up high to look a better deal but that is just what every company does, if you see it come down to half price as RRP then you think you have a bargain but was it that steep price to begin with?

Apparently once item has been removed from basket, it does not go back into the sale for someone else to buy.
