I can't see how this promotion is going to do amazon any good.

100 happy customers who got a cd but thousands and thousands of unhappy customers who clicked the link within a second of the deal starting and were to late.

You might want to try switching browsers (IE to Firefox, or whatever you might have), or even rebooting your computer (seeing as we have 40 mins or so until the next ones are live). Or maybe just try changing the dropdown menu on the top left from 'show all: available' to 'upcoming' or something, to see if that brings you up the clock?

I'm not talking about those people....I also thought that Amazon would have more stock to at least make the whole thing last longer than a minute! but some people were complaining that it was a swizz. that was all i was saying.

I managed the TT cd, put it in my basket when the counter ended and the price came up - dithered a lot when it showed in my basket at full price, but then clicked through and promotional discount came off. Perhaps people are waiting for those with it in their baskets but not checking out ( I did not check out till several minutes later), as I wonder if I had not checked out it would have come back into stock?
