I managed to get SuBo. Wanted Take That but never mind.

    From Twitter.

I reckon I had TT too but didn't realise. Got the perfume though for £16. Not sure if that was a good deal or not. Seems okay.

Think some of these deals may be a bit like 'bid tv' - not so great after all. This perfume is £9.99 for 50ml at fragrance direct (100ml never actually costs 'twice as much') rrp £40, save £30.

i dont mean to sound grumpy, but why is everyone complaining that it's a fiddle?

there are a few people on here saying that they got a cd, so it clearly isn't a swizz. there aren't going to be thousands of these items when they are as cheap as this. there will be a small amount, and you take the chance that you will get one just like the other 10,000 people that are also trying to score one.

sorry for the whinge, but i dont understand why people convince themselves its a con if they dont get their hands on a bargain.

They're not saying its a con. I think the majority of us are working on the assumption that Amazon has put a lot less stock out there for these prices than what we had all hoped / anticipated. Hence the fact that probably about 98% people on this thread now are now !!!!ed off with them.

So, has it been a good exercise from Amazon's point of view? It's an interesting topic.

whats the betting that we'll be waiting in the queue for the whole hour for it to be sold out at the end?!

I don't know if this is any help but the SuBo cd I got was in my basket even when it said I was in a queue, and it was still in there when it said all had sold out, eventhough I hadn't checked out. Would it be worth opening another page and checking your basket to see if it's been added?

    £55 down to £16 I think.

This can be bought from £22 delivered, so only a £6 saving. Phew, at least I don't mind missing that one!

Don't click the product info, you need to wait until the countdown stops and it says 'add to basket'. Try this link.

Now I know how the celebs felt in their kangaroo court! Survival of the fastest clicker! :(

I can see me clicking to buy something I don't even want, purely so I get *something*! Don't do it Hushy, NO.

thanks for info, i am on the black friday link and the items are all in like a box at top of page but i can't quite see the time and i cn't expand the box :( all i see is "starts in"
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving

I guess Harry Potter is at 10am. I wonder if it'll be dvd or bluray set..

I wondered that and tried it a few mins ago but my basket was still empty. Although might be worth trying again I guess
  • I think it's worse for Amazon than it is for those of us who missed out. I too clicked as soon as I could and missed out but I kinda accept that's the way it goes but the reason I think it's bad for Amazon is the fact that so many people have become disheartened after the first deal and aren't likely to keep checking back. Surely that's the opposite of what they want?

Also, everyone slates Simon Cowell for manipulating the charts. What price on Take That's album heading to number one? If there were THAT many available, then they must be a dead cert!

I can understand the CD's going fast but the perfume...seems like a panic buy to me!
