Moneysaving Windscreen Cover Help

Hi
I understand that we are going to get some nasty weather towards the end of the week and I wondered if there were any moneysaving ways I could avoid getting ice on my windscreen on a morning.
I had thought that an old shower curtain would work the same as those plastic windscreen covers you can buy but we use a shower screen so that's not an option.
Does anyone have any other ideas.
Thanks

I use one of those cheap (about a £1/£2?) plastic, fabric-backed tablecloths that I bought from Superdrug a few years ago. I cut it to size, and place it fabric side down, anchored in place by my windscreen wipers. If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0
