    Morning all! Thanks for the lists. Back in BIG time this week! All went a bit wrong after having the dreaded lurgy and its taking me a while to get into the swing of things again. But so sick of being so disorganised and these lists really help. Desperately need to get sorted for Christmas too which is stressing me out. Ok so got some washing to do and empty DW now plus need to make a shopping list and meal plan. Need to make some phone calls regarding swapping the rest of my DD's over to new bank. Got to put some money in bank. Right best get to it!!
    Thinking of you BODDY on this sad day.

    Morning everyone.
    All kids now back to school yayyyyyyyy:j
    My poor throat feels like i've spent the night swallowing razor blades, hope it passes soon. :(

    Plan of action today is
    1)Wash DS1's coat
    2)Find DS2's coat
    3)Sew buttons back on my coat
    4)Sort jewellery box (Rhys got into it)
    5)Order or reserve a few more christmas pressies
    6)Meal plan with what is in the cupboard
    7)Clear car out of clothes
    8)S&S kitchen
    9)give livingroom a quick tidy
    10)lit the fire

    I'll be happy if i get the bathroom list and mine done today...:D

    Bobby/Dusty candles lit here xxx
    Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
    And things go wrong no matter what I do.
    Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
    But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Tiddles has snot :( .. messy and a half!!!

    Love to Boddy and Dusty's little family.. terribly hard day for all concerned.

    Freja just did a 12 hour night so is starving this morning!!

    Off to Mr T to pick up an order and a few bits when OH gets back from school.
    Physio at 11 for small pinks

    I need to ring make docs appt for Freja for a referral to eye clinic for eye test... OH is a bit mole-like and it wasn't picked up until he was 10 and I have concerns about her lack of eye contact/focussing so need to discuss it.. I'll ask about my cyst being removed too.. it would be fine.. if it wasn't on my nose so I look like a witch!... think that is my day filled!

    Full of a cold here still so half expecting phone call to collect ds from school. Need to go and buy some more tissues and parrots too.

    Non germy hugs to all xx

    Morning everyone. Thanks to all at FCC

    Boddy - Thinking of you today
    Dusty - Thinking of that poor family as well
    Juliejim - Best of Luck with the house check
    Mollina Girl - Best way is mouse traps baited with chocolate spread or peanut butter. Might sound cruel but you can't have mice in the house they are dirty & distructive. The wee & poo as they run about:eek:

    DH is off work today & is still in bed.Sil is here having looked after the kids while we had a weekend in lille and is still in bed in guestroom.
    She has rearranged my kitchen:mad: She was only here for the weekend I didn't ask her to move in!!

    Will do the ironing first then walk the dog then hopefully there may be some movement.
  • ...please add me as a "known lurker"! I will be lurking all week and getting motivated enough to clear up and be a complete domestic Goddess...:A (well... you never know! Think positive!)

    Good luck to all!

    Thanks jackywhizz I'll give that a try. So far they are contained in the cupboard under the sink, I think they are coming in via the hole for the water pipes. Last night I left a tiny piece of food on the worktop so see if it was eaten but it was still untouched this morning.
    DH likes peanut butter so I'll use that as we don't have chocolate spread.
    Wish me luck!

    Morning all

    Thanks for all your kind thought

    Boddy hugs for you this morning

    Mollina - you need to find out how they are getting it. A friend has them coming in from her neighbours attached house under her kitchen cupboards - they only need a small gap. You might be best getting the pest man in if you can't deal with it. What pellets are you putting down. Be careful not to just poision them as if they die in your house you'll end up with a dreadful stench, it is a hideous gas like smell.

    Quick tidy in the kitchen and then I need to go to Mr M with a list.

  • Hi everyone, and thanks to Pigpen and Toots, as ever.

    I have such a lot on this week: need to keep breathing deeply so I don't completely panic! Today I have space to get a load of household jobs done, plus a load of cooking. Bathroom is looking OK, though the loos need doing, so I'm going a little 'off-piste'...

    My list looks something like this:

    * Dishwasher
    * Strip cold chicken; stock with bones

    * Decant Xmas puds (in simmering oven from o/night)

    * Wash up pans
    * Clean loos

    * Change towels wherever needed
    * Overnight load of washing?

    * Empty airing cupboard
    * Put clothes away

    * 30 mins in garden - winter protection! Also plant pak choi
    * 30 mins work: confirm appointments, get files in order

    * Hairwash

    * Make a fruit cake
    * Make bread
    * Make naan breads
    * Make curries

    * Sort out handbag before it gives way

    * School run
    * Meals, homework etc

    Must start dashing around at 10:00am. The yeast is already bubbling, so I'll start the bread rolling and see where I go from there... Starting a little early...
