Having a bad morning, fell asleep crying last night. Im so tired of this constant battle with payments, keeping spreadsheets and calenders, working out when things are going out and if we have enough to cover them. Christmas is coming and it just makes me feel worse. There wont be a turkey here, more like a couple of frozen chicken breasts. I know its our own fault we are here, some of the debt was not entirely our fault but yes lots was money spent on things we couldnt really afford, some needed some not. 4-5 years and it will all hopefully be a different story but for today I just want to lock myself away. Maybe its time we start defaulting on things and try to get the interest stopped. I really dont know, we've never defaulted before and I really dont like the idea. There are days I feel totally in control and then days like today I feel like Im drowning.

  • Well done on your diary. You are doing amazingly well keeping track of everything and sorting your life out!

I read you had a bad night last night. Don't worry, you are going amazing fine and you're keeping on top of everything. Your debt is always decreasing and your getting inches closer by the day towards being debt free!

Keep your chin up, take each day as it comes and before you know it, you will be debt free! :j

well Ive had a couple of days to get myself into a better mood.

Christmas shopping is almost complete for the children so thats the main thing. Me and hubby will go without this year but id rather that than add to our debt.

PPI claim has been rejected from the bank as they say they dont have the original documents. As I dont either I think its a no go. Ah well. I should have asked for it back when I cancelled it. Never mind, lesson learnt.

No payments apart from minimum payments going off the total at the moment. We are going to have a shortfall of around £150 in a few weeks so need to deal with that at the moment and sort out why we are having shortfalls when we have a small amount of surplus money available.

Going to just sort out a plan of action for 2013, need a positive goal to keep focused on so I guess thats it. I know this diary is just full of waffle. Ever get the impression I'm just stuck in a rut?!!
