    No cannot access internet.
Tried to set it up and says the following :

A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the wirelsss LAN.

Is that the router? Its netgear wnr2000

do you have access to run a wired connection to the ps3?
  • not really. PC is in one corner of bedroom whilst tv and ps3 is in another. and the ethernet cable is not that long
  • Ok so im guessing my router netgear wrn2000 is the cause. here is how i am running things.
Ethernet cable from modem to router. Ethernet cable from router to pc.

Now when i try on xbox to test the connection, which is xbox to router then router to pc. It wont even connect to the router now.

I did reset to factory settings this afternoon after speaking to virgin media but that has not helped me.

In WMP11 in library and sharing the xbox is there witha geen tick so the pc can see it..
