Hello, please be kind to me as I am fairly useless with technology.
I have deleted Soundblaster from my computer, which now means I can't play anything in WMP or itunes, which is annoying. I no longer have the set up disc that came with my creative Zen Touch and it seems I cannot reinstall this without it.
I don't have a restore point on my computer that will help, so I'm a bit stuck.
Can anyone help - please do not imagine that you can over simplify any instructions!
Thanks

If you've deleted all Soundblaster software, it has probably removed the driver for the sound card. If you look in Control Panel, System, Device Manager, do you see a soundcard present, and is it shown as working normally? If not, you may (depending on the model) simply re-install the driver and it will work normally, as many Creative devices will work Ok with Windows built-in drivers.
If that doesn't work, you will need to find out exactly which model of soundcard you have (they usually have a model code on them), then go to the Creative support website and download the software for it. Their support pages are generally very good, so it shouldn't be hard to find.0 -
Cheers, i've manged to get it back - though I'm not entirely sure how, but the point is I can play music again so I'm happy!0
