Hi Guys,
I'd be so greatful if anyone could give me a bit of advice. We have booked a FlyDrive, but obviously want to see some of the attractions..
We're both interested in the best nightlife, animals, exciting adult rides, kennedy space centre, maybe universal studios gator world, sea world etc (not really interested in seeing mickey mouse and his mates)
I just can't work out whether it's best to get a combo ticket, or just pay as we go? It's pretty confusing....
I guess our biggest thing is new years eve! Where to go and whether we need to get tickets... If anyone could just give me a brief overview.... I will have some idea of where to start searching!
Thanks for your time guys, it's appreciated

I've been to Orlando twice, and loved it! As I guess that you're not interested in kids stuff, I would give the Mouse a miss, apart from the Boardwalk (I think it's called that), which is much more adult and something for the evening. Florida at this time of year is lovely, warm and sunny with the ocassional heavy shower.
I loved SeaWorld and the Kennedy Space Station (that's a couple of hours drive away from Orlando), and Busch Gardens in the other coast is nice too.
Enjoy!0 -
Hi Caroline,
Many thanks for your reply! What is Busch gardens and do you know if you have to pay to go on the boardwalk!
Thanks again, Robster x0 -
Busch Gardens is another theme park, with the tendency towards bigger rides, and is a good couple of hours drive from most places in the Disney/Universal area, iirc.
Be aware, when we went to Orlando last Christmas it was VERY busy, spent a lot of time driving back and forth in v. heavy traffic no matter what time of day we were there.
Do the Magic Kingdom if you arrive before the 21st, or save it for the 3rd of Jan or later. It is a constant round of getting fastpasses and riding, otherwise you will queue all day.
You need to do some homework, and quick, to make the best of your time out there.
We had park passes for everything, in hindsight I'd buy them on the day at the gate.
book in advance online for Kennedy and do the up close tour, nothing else gets you closer.;)
Have a great time, hope the weather is kind to you ( last year was their coldest winter for 40 year so we were a bit chillier than expected)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
