Easyjet online check in

I was wondering if any of you guys on here had any experience of checking in online with easyjet recently. I am flying from Glasgow to Gatwick this week and i have only got hand luggage, when i booked the flights online it straight away let me print my boarding passes for both flights, however i noticed that you could check in online by putting the passengers surname in and booking reference number.

Once i done this it just went to the the same web page that i was at originally where it allows you to print your boarding pass. It doesn't say i am booked in online anywhere, I dont know if i am missing something or does this mean i am checked in online? I dont want to go straight through to security and realise that i have to check in at the airport.
thanks:)
